This video link offers sage advise for business owners–thanks for sharing. I particularly liked Mr. Rivers comment on outside consultants. If the existing management team can’t turnaround operations, outside resources should serve as a “Catalyst for Change.” I’ll add one more caveat and that is OBJECTIVITY. Responsible consultants allow management to view their business more objectively, without bias or emotion. This permits change to occur from the inside-out, a far more powerful resolve that leads to a perpetual improvement process. Thanks for the spark for renewed thinking on my value to customer.
